*FTC AFFILIATE DISCLOSURE* : I have commission based affiliations with certain PEMF products that are competitive to this Healthyline product, which I am reviewing here. However, this does not impact my opinions as I am passionate about ONLY sharing the best PEMF! Additionally all these tests can be verified with the proper scientific equipment so you can see that everything I am saying here is TRUE!
Introduction
Healthyline and Healthywave (same mats) are very aggressively marketed PEMF and infrared mats. I have owned and tested now six different healthyline and healthywave mats and they are (along with all the cheap Alibaba gemstone + FIR + negative + PEMF mats) the worst of the worst in PEMF. Actually they are not PEMF at all but more EMF as they simply pulse the 60 Hz from the power company through very cheap coils. And worse, these mats even when turned off still have measureable 60 Hz EMF!! Read this detailed review here on this page of Healthyline/Healthywave before buying as we will look at all the features and functions of cheap mat in detail.
Note: Healthywave is simply an affiliate of healthyline. They will even tell you that you that the warranty is through healthyline. All the mats are identically the same. For example the Healthywave Multiwave IS the Healthyline Platinum. No difference whatsoever.

Section II - Overview of Research showing 60 Hz and Dirty Electricity is Not Good
Section I
10 reasons you absolutely do not want to buy Healthyline or Healthywave:
1. The Coils - Healthyline and Healthywave use cheap rod ferrite coils that a poor distribution and poor penetration depth (Good for AM Radios, not so good for PEMF)!
2. 60 Hz , 60 Hz everywhere 60 Hz - Healthyline and Healthywave simply pulses 60 Hz at different repetition rates on EVERY SETTING!! (We'll look at the dirty electricity last because it is the most technical).
3. The far infrared on healthyline and healthywave uses cheap silicon wire
4. The Negative Ion Scam - Zero Negative Ions Measured (and confirmed by Alpha Labs!)
5. The Red Light Therapy Scam - no Better than Christmas Tree Lights (and also the wrong wavelength 630 instead of listed 660)
6. The Great Frequency Mixup Scam! The Healthyline/Healthywave Basic Controller Has Wrong Frequencies on 16 of the 30 Programs!
7. The Embarrasing Truth of Healthyline/Healthywave’s Advanced Controller - Why the cheaper models are measurably better than the Platinum/Multiwave advanced controller! Save your money!
8. Cheap Crystals and
9. Layers and Layers of Gimmicks!!
10. Poor EMF shielding and measurable electric field dirty electricity
Each of these ten points will be discussed (with evidence) in detail on this page below:

Reason #1: The Coils - Healthyline and Healthywave use cheap rod ferrite coils that a poor distribution and poor penetration depth (Good for AM Radios, not so good for PEMF)!
The coils are like the speakers or antennas of a good PEMF system and ideally you want larger tightly wound circular coils using a sufficiently thick gauge copper wire. Healthyline and Healthywave use some of the worst coils I have seen in my 17 years of PEMF therapy research: cheap rod ferrite coils that a poor distribution and poor penetration depth!
These cheap coils which you can find for less than a dollar on Alibaba are less than ideal for transmitting PEMF signals. They might be good for portable radios, but they are not suited for PEMF therapy. Nowhere in their marketing do they make it clear the kinds of coils they use. These coils also produce very large "dead" spots, and our measurements of the healthyline mat only found significant intensities right above and closely surrounding the coils. Healthyline and Healthywave mislead people with their intensity numbers because their posted intensities are only in the small areas of the coils. And their bouncing magnet demonstrations are a scam. They clearly do not understand how resonance works as complex signals will not cause magnets to move. You need simplistic and repetitive low frequencies to get this phenomenon and with healthyline it only works right above the coils. The ONLY way to accurately measure magnetic field intensity on a changing magnetic field is with a hall probe. Also because the coils are turned on the side, the flux of the magnetic field comes out sideways. Most quality PEMF devices use much larger and tightly wound circular coils which are the RIGHT way to transmit PEMF energy directly into the body.

Mat Drop Off Rates From these Cheap Coils - Not Good!
We tested the mat magnetic field intensity using the same hall probe as I used for the advanced vs basic controller test (note that the hall probe is directional, and magnetic field lines curve. In these tests the hall probe was rotated around multiple angles to verify that the magnetic field measured was at the peak). These field dropoff results were all captured using the basic controller (the highest intensity one).

Reason #2: 60 Hz , 60 Hz everywhere 60 Hz - Healthyline and Healthywave simply pulses 60 Hz at different repetition rates on EVERY SETTING!!
Healthyline and Healthywave simply pulses 60 Hz line power from the power company at different switching rates on all their products. None of the frequencies they list are really accurate. This is false advertising because they hide from consumers that every program is riding on 60 Hz from the power company because they don’t have a proper signal generator. What they call frequency is simply the repetition or pulsing rate of the 60 Hz from the power company, which is essentially just turning it on and off - like turning a light switch one and off - at different rates. But on an oscilloscope, you always see the 60 Hz signal which not a therapeutic signal (see section II for research). Any engineer can verify this. We’ll see in part II, that the advanced controller ALSO uses 60 Hz on every setting, EVEN THE SQUARE WAVE

Proof of 60 Hz on Advanced Controller: These hall probe measurements show that there is a 60hz component to the PEMF signal that comes from the advanced controller These same tests are even easier to verify with the basic controller! So ALL healthywave and healthyline PEMF mats and all the programs show a 60 Hz component even on the squarewave on the advanced controller. Here is what the setup looks like.

Reason #3: The far infrared on healthyline and healthywave uses cheap silicon wire
The far infrared on healthyline and healthywave uses cheap silicon wire like cheap heating pads unlike quality carbon or ceramic infrared heating elements used in quality saunas and some devices like the iMRS prime hybrid (which uses carbon which has a MUCH better far infrared wavelength profile).
I found this wire on Alibaba for as little as 10 cents/ meter. I measured to total length of the wire in the Healthyline Platinum Pro+ full body mat I have, and it was about 18 meters = $1.80 for the far infrared!!!
Cheap Cheap Cheap!

Reason #4: The Great Negative Ion Scam - Zero Negative Ions Measured (and confirmed by Alpha Labs!) - Watch Video Below!
Healthyline and Healthywave claim (incorrectly) that amethyst, obsidian, tourmaline, quartz, jade, yellow clay, etc increase negative ions. Testing this with a precision negative ion counter from Alpha Labs shows this is not true! There are ZERO Negative Ions detected!

Zero Negative Ions Confirmed By Dr Bill Lee President of Alpha Labs
In this video demonstration below I looked at the negative ion counts of the healthyline platinum and healthywave multiwave pemf mat. Using an incredibly precision Alpha labs negative ion counter and getting expert guidance on how to use it from the President himself at Alpha Labs, there were absolutely no negative ions detected. Bill Lee pHD, owner and lead engineer at Alpha Labs that helps design these systems told me that crystals , tourmaline, yellow mud, etc do not create negative ions. He himself did an experiment because he was tired of hearing that crystals emit negative ions, so he himself did an experiment and he found that you need a temperature of 1100 degrees Fahrenheit to get BOTH negative and positive ions! If you want negative ions with PEMF, you can simply buy an inexpensive one on amazon as there is both theoretically and measurably ZERO on Alpha labs! This is provably both a LIE and a gimmick!
==> Anyone Skeptical can Call Alpha Labs and Speak to Bill Directly to Confirm This!!

Reason #5: The Red Light Therapy Scam - no Better than Christmas Tree Lights (and also the wrong wavelength 630 instead of listed 660) ...Watch Short Video Below!
On top of that the red light is BELOW therapeutic value and listing this as a benefit is a gimmick that misleads people. Michael Hamblin of Harvard and others in Photobiomodulation (red light) research have shown you need at least 5 mW/cm^2 to be therapeutic. Healthyline cheap red LEDS do not meet this all important criteria for red light therapy. I measured from 1 - 1.4 mW/cm^2 with several measurements.
Claim 2.5 mW/cm^2 (Falsified)
Measurement 1: 1.08 mW/cm^2
Measurement 2: 1.27 mW/cm^2
Measurement 3: 1.27 mW/cm^2
Measurement 4: 1.35 mW/cm^2
Measurement 5: 1.35 mW/cm^2
Christmas Tree Lights
Measurement 1: .950 mW/cm^2
Measurement 2: 1.18 mW/cm^2
And not only is the irradiance ridiculously low on par with Christmas tree red lights, there are also even on their most expensive mat only 60 total LEDs which covers an area smaller than your hand when you put them close together. So not only is the irradiance low, the total optical power is dismally low. Note: Healthywave tried to do a demonstration showing better irradiance but a SOLAR power meter was used. This is NOT the correct instrument to measurement red LED light as the photodiode is skewed towards the red giving readings up to twice as high as actual. You have to measure LED with a spectroradiometer.
Conclusion: The red light therapy is provably a gimmick and should not a big selling point AT ALL, though healthyline makes it into a big selling point.

Total Optical Power = Area of Coverage (Not Good!!)
Besides having an irradiance that is therapeutically ineffective, the healthyline/healthywave LED bulbs are very small with no beam angle or distance to spread out the light (like you can with panels). Because of this you only get 60 little pin pricks of light. If we do the math we can see that the total area of red light on the entire mat is only ~1 x 1.5 inches!! That is LESS than the area of two quarters!!

The Red light therapy wavelength is also listed incorrectly at 660nm
660 nm is the most researched wavelength in red light therapy. While healthyline claims they have 660nm, using a very accurate (and expensive) spectroradiometer, I measured it to be clearly 630 nm and I did repeated measurements to confirm this. Yet another reason Healthyline and healthywave mats are fake and counterfeit.

Reason #6: The Great Frequency Mixup Scam! The Healthyline/Healthywave Basic Controller Has Wrong Frequencies on 16 of the 30 Programs!
Not only does healthyline/healthywave pulse unhealthy 60 Hz on their basic controller, but they list even the pulsing rate wrong on 16 of the 30 settings as I have shown with an oscilloscope (see image below). They "claim" 1-30 Hz but it is NOT on many levels. 16 are WRONG. This is only on their basic controller but that is their bestseller. So also makes the healthyline a fake or counterfeit. Most of the settings are NOT as advertised! Anyone with an oscilloscope can see this for themselves. And again, even worse as we mentioned in the previous section, the frequencies they list (when correct) are the repetition rate frequencies of a 60 Hz carrier wave. That is they simply turn the dirty power from the power company on and off at different rates.

Reason #7: The Embarrasing Truth of Healthyline/Healthywave’s Advanced Controller - Why the cheaper models are measurably better than the Platinum/Multiwave advanced controller! Save your money!
According NASA Study, PEMF expert’s Robert Dennis and Dr Pawluk and many good PEMF studies, the KEY to good PEMF device is measured by the slew rate. This is more important than frequency or intensity because it is the basis for how much healing microcurrents are induced from a good PEMF device. Basically the higher the slew rate, sharper the rise and/or fall of the PEMF signal and the more healing energy is induced in tissues for healing. Embarrassingly for healthyline and healthywave, their basic controller outperforms their so called advanced controller by over 200%! That is, the slew rate is over twice as good on the basic controller as it is on the advanced controller. This makes the healthyline platinum and healthywave multiwave systems which are more than twice the price of their basic system not worth the extra cost. This of course assumes the healthyline signal is even healthy, which as we will see in great detail in this document that it is NOT! But still, to use industry standards to compare, we find that the basic controller is better choice for much less!

Slew Rate Test – Basic Controller Sine Wave > Advanced Controller Square wave
I tested the slew rate using a hall sensor (digikey part # EQ731L-ND) taped to the mat where the magnetic field seemed the highest:
Advanced Controller on 30 Hz Slew Rate .442 T/s
Basic Controller on 30 Hz Slew Rate = 1.04 T/s
I tested the slew rate using a hall sensor (digikey part # EQ731L-ND) taped to the mat where the magnetic field seemed the highest:
Advanced Controller on 30 Hz Slew Rate .442 T/s
Basic Controller on 30 Hz Slew Rate = 1.04 T/s
I then proceeded to measure the magnetic field using the advanced controller, set to maximum intensity, 30hz, "M" pulse duration and square wave.
Here are the results: Every 65 millivolts equals one millitesla, so the rise and run are 239.03 millivolts and 8.299 milliseconds, respectively. This works out to about a 0.442 T/s (Tesla per second) slew rate.

Then, leaving everything in place, I disconnected the advanced controller and plugged in the basic controller. The basic controller was also set to 30hz. Here are the results:
Conclusion: The rise and run (572 mV and 8.48 ms) are over double (8.8/8.48 = 1.04 T/s) on the basic controller compared to the advanced controller sinewave.
But those are just the slew rates RIGHT ABOVE the coils. Because as we saw in reason #1 that the intensities drop of VERY quickly going up and around the coils the slew rates ALSO drop off a significantly as shown here.
Conclusion: Much good research has shown that you need at least 5 T/s to have measurable therapeutic effects. Healthyline and Healthywave cannot even accomplish this DIRECTLY ABOVE EACH COIL!
See my Slew Rate page for more information and many research studies on Slew Rate: https://www.pemft.net/slew-rate.html

Reason #8 & #9: Cheap Crystals and Layers and Layers of Gimmicks!!
Anyone knowledgeable in gemstone therapy knowns you need high clarity pure crystals with little contaminants to be therapeutic. The crystals in Healthyline mats are of the lowest quality which is easily seen when their cheap mats start to tear and the cheap crystals come out (a common complaint I have seen is crystals start leaking out due to cheap stitching. Even worse these crystals are heavy, hard, uncomfortable and bulky making their full body platinum mat over 30 pounds!!
1) Does not keep gemstones in place very well... Many online complaints that gemstones leak out!
2) [LIE] Gemstones do not produce negative ions. Far infrared is simple black body radiation
3) [LIE] Does not increase negative ion output as none were detected
4) Does not shield EMF very well (but it does a little)
5) Does not shield EMF very well (but it does a little)
6) [LIE] Yellow mud does not increase ion output as zero negative ions detected
7) This layer seems plausible
8) Photon Layer (red light) is a Gimmick - only 1 mW/cm^2 measured.

Reason 10 Healthyline and Healthywave
Shows very clearly electric field dirty electricity coming through
I sent an engineer a Healthyline mat and he did what is called a Frequency Response Graph which is an electric field spectrum analysis of the EMI (electromagnetic interference) which is also called dirty power or dirty electricity. Using a network analyzer to measure which frequencies pass through (controller off) the following was found:
What this shows is the Healthyline does in fact allow dirty electricity to pass very clearly in many spots and most notably from 1 kHz (kilohertz) to 100 kHz and again over 2 Mhz (Megahertz) up to 5 Mhz (note there are many sources of dirty electricity in the low Mhz). Here is another network analysis capture that shows more detail than the last:
The bottom line in dark blue is the baseline of the network analyzer setup, the top light blue line is the test with the
input to the network analyzer. The output of the network analyzer was attached to both the earth ground prong and
the neutral prong. 200 Hz – 2 MHz. Grounding faraday cage. Shows faraday cage works best at 8-9 kHz and again
around 300 kHz. But it is NOT very effective below 2kHz, 12-150 kHz, or above 500kHz. Yes they have a faraday
layer, and it works at some frequencies, but it’s not broad spectrum.
So yes, Healthyline has a faraday layer and yes it works on some narrow ranges of frequencies, but a LOT of electric field dirty electricity passes right on through.
===>Note: I have seen healthywave do a test of electrosmog using the RF setting of a Trifield meter which is the WRONG instrument to test for 60 Hz and dirty electricity! This only measures frequencies ABOVE 20 Mhz and it is well known dirty electricity spikes rarely go above 10 Mhz.

Electric Field High Frequency Dirty Electricity Passes Through Healthyline/Healthywave’s Purported Electrosmog Protection which is provably not very affective.
Sitting on the Healthyline is like sitting on a power cord with minimal protection to the electric field. Basicall the mat with its live wires are amplifying whatever is in your wall (like a near field antenna). This unfavorable capacitive coupling to the dirty wall current is like putting body close to the 60 Hz wall current with all its higher frequency dirty electricity spikes.

High Electric Fields with Mat Turned off! (and 10x the background with mat turned on! - 2 tests confirm this!)
LIVE WIRES Show test that Healthyline has 60 Hz electric field and Dirty Electricity EVEN with Mat Turned Off!! This is shocking, literally! We also found that with an electric field probe that even with the basic (and advanced) controller shut off, the line power stays connected (partially rectified). This doesn't generate a magnetic field, but leaves the ability to capacitively couple the 60hz line power into a person laying on the mat.
Also with mat on with heat going we measured 10x the background which is in confirmation with the trifield meter readings!
Methodology to show this
Here is the measurement of the electric field with the controller plugged into an outlet but powered off: I tested these scenarios as well as a couple of combinations.
For the first set of tests I used a piece of aluminum foil that mimicked the area a human body would occupy on the mat. Testing this way uses capacitive coupling to measure the electric fields over the mat, and reduces the variables associated with the human body test.
To replicate the test all you will need is an oscilloscope and some aluminum foil. It is helpful if the oscilloscope has a connection to earth ground. Connect the probe to the foil and test the baseline vs plugged in values. It is beneficial to perform the test in a location where the baseline is below 400mV peak to peak.

Since aluminum foil has a different impedance than the human body, the test was replicated using a human body instead of aluminum foil. 2 volts peak to peak. 2-1/2 volts peak to peak on whole body. Theoretically 4-5 volts peak to peak. Baseline 200 mV peak. 10x the background at 60 Hz. Quality of connection to earth-ground determines how well. Two prong to 3 prong.
ALSO with the trifield meter on the electric field setting I was getting 100 V/m compared to 10 V/m background which is ALSO 10x the background. So TWO different tests show Healtyline Electric Field is 10x the background.

Part 3: Show Dirty Electricity ~200Hz - 10 Mhz
Methodology
The setup used for this test involved a device that would draw variable current spikes to induce voltage fluctuations on the power input line to the mat. The electric field was measured via capacitive coupling with the same foil setup as before:
To replicated this test, a custom circuit is needed that will draw current from the line power at the control of a function generator. Another option would be to use any device that draws spurious current spikes connected to the same circuit as the mat.
The spikes in the images below (in yellow) shows directly the time domain measurements of dirty electricity passing from the power line through the healthyline mat in the electric field. And we measured the electric field and we found both high kilohertz.
2.9 Mhz, 800 KHz, 700 kHz. Resonant frequency changed with PEMF on, frequency goes down, and amplitude goes up. Higher inductance. Dirty electricity 100s of Kilohertz.

Here is one of the measurements (image below) of both the spurious voltage spike as well as the resulting electric field measured on the mat: large spike on yellow. 1% fluctuations on powerline, fairly large fluctuations electric field. This is what comes through your healthyline mat when someone is running an electric drill or any appliance that injects dirty electricity into that circuit in the house.
Part 4: Second Test
I tested some approximate electric field measurements. For reference sake, this is what I saw measuring about 1 inch away from a power cord:
I tested some approximate electric field measurements. For reference sake, this is what I saw measuring about 1 inch away from a power cord:
In the measurement above, you can see the 60hz sine, and there are 2 abnormal peaks on the bottom left, and 1 abnormal peak on the top right. These peaks are the voltage noise I was inducing on the power lines (they are introduced sporadically).
In the measurement below, the same electric field probe was moved to the top of the mat. Here you can see that one of the voltage spikes were measured in this instance as well (spike in bottom center-right) this was seen both with the controller on (PEMF running) and the with the controller off (both PEMF off and controller completely shut down).

It is important to note that the spikes were also seen on the output of the controller.
Part 5) Capacitive Coupling is like putting body closer to your 60 Hz wall current with all its higher frequency spikes.
For this test the electric field was measured using the same capacitive coupling foil technique used for the above tests. The baseline was captured with the mat unplugged (yellow line), then the device was plugged into a power outlet and there was a definite increase in the 41Khz noise coming through(white line):
The yellow shows what you get laying on the mat unplugged. Grey line shows what you get with the mat plugged in, which is about twice what is in the background. This comes from the live wires in the mat (even when turned off) creating capactive coupling which is like sitting on a live power cord or putting your hand over an outlet (with minimal shielding).
41 kHZ noise in powerline, radiates into the room.
Wireless phone charger.
Laying on a power cord or putting your hand over an outlet.

To duplicate this test simply use the foil method described above and take one measurement with the device plugged in and another with the device unplugged. This does require some level of noise to be present on the power line to see the difference.
The Big Problem of Exposure
I have done PEMF consultations with thousands of people and of those many people, I have talked to dozens of people that use healthywave/healthyline for many hours a day and even SLEEP on them overnight! In fact they even recommend sleeping on it as can be seen in their user manual. Being exposed to 60 Hz and dirty electricity is a problem is when people lay on these mats many hours or overnight!
60 Hz and Dirty electricity exposure is cumulative according to EMF expert Martin Blank PhD.

They must be using an h Field style probe (these will capacitively couple and show a false number). They also conveniently didn't use their "magnetic probe" to measure above the mat, they used the tri-field meter to make it look better than it is. When they used the aluminum foil, they had so much background that the amount coming through the mat looks minimal.
It does sound like they have some sort of high slew rate mat that we haven't tested yet. We should probably make a video showing how they designed these measurements specifically to make themselves look good.
Another thing that they tried to do is not say that everything we said was false, but that they have less than iMRS. This is potentially true, like how I mentioned that some of the measurements were similar on my loop device. Really any device that plugs into the wall will have this effect to some extent
I think the main things I would put in a video are just the ways that they cooked the measurements to falsely make their mat look good

Section II
Research that shows 60hz and its associated higher frequency dirty electricity (also called dirty power, dirty line noise, EMI/electromagnetic interference) are unsafe and unhealthy
Part 1: 60 Hz is not good for you
Evidence has accumulated indicating the speed of vibrations that powers our household appliances at 50 or 60 Hz can have an unhealthy effect on us. And with the plethora of electronic devices in our world, we are bombarded with frequencies that don’t support the health of our body cells. For this reason, it can be important to have the tools to expose our body cells to healthy frequencies.
1) 60 Hz unhealthy because if can cause fibrillation (too close to natural heartbeat https://jmkengineering.com/electric-shock-human-body
Why is low frequency current dangerous to the heart?
Because the heart beats at a fairly low frequency, low frequency current like the kind found in modern day power systems (60Hz in North America) is very dangerous because it can cause heart fibrillation. The heart is made up of a group of muscles that all have to work together to pump the blood through your body. Heart fibrillation is the medical term for when these muscles are no longer working together: your heart is off beat, and "flutters" or beats weakly but way faster than normal. This weakly beating heart can't pump blood through your body properly. The blood won't get to the lungs for oxygen, and the heart will quickly run out of oxygen and stop. The is known as cardiac arrest, or a heart attack.

3) 60 Hz DNA Damage
Lai H, Singh NP. Magnetic-field-induced DNA strand breaks in brain cells of the rat. Environ Health Perspect 2004b; 112:687- 94.
Although short-term animal studies are considered less relevant for cancer risk assessment than long-term carcinogenicity and co- carcinogenicity studies, they can provide important contributions to understanding the mechanisms of carcinogenic effects. Genotoxicity of ELF magnetic fields was studied by Lai and Singh (2004b), who reported significantly increased DNA damage after exposure to a 60 Hz, 10 μT magnetic field for 24 or 48 hours. Although the effect was relatively small, it was seen in several independent experiments. The effects were blocked by treatment with a radical scavenger, a nitric oxide synthase inhibitor and an iron chelator, suggesting involvement
of free radicals and iron in the effects of magnetic fields.
4) Meta-analysis 1
Guo H, Kang L, Qin W, Li Y. Electromagnetic Radiation Exposure and Childhood Leukemia: Meta-Analysis and Systematic Review. Altern Ther Health Med. 2023 Nov;29(8):75-81. PMID: 37678874.
Conclusions: The collective results of three meta-analyses, encompassing magnetic field strengths ranging from 0.1 μT to 2.38 μT, underscore a statistically significant association between the intensity of magnetic fields and the occurrence of childhood leukemia.
5) Meta-analysis 2
Ghahremani, S., Shiroudbakhshi, K., Salimi Kordasiabi, A. H., FiroozBakht, M., Hosseinzadegan, M., Ashrafinia, F., Rahafard, S. (2020). 'Exposure to Magnetic Fields and Childhood Leukemia: An Overview of Meta-Analysis', International Journal of Pediatrics, 8(5), pp. 11361-11365
Three meta-analyses showed a statistical association between magnetic field intensity and childhood leukemia (ranged 0.1-2.36 μT). The results of one study also showed that there was no relationship between exposure to ≥ 0.1μT and childhood leukemia. These results revealed an association between leukemia incidence and magnetic field intensity of ≥0.3μT. In comparison, negative results have been reported about exposure to magnetic field intensity of less than 0.01 to 0.03 μT (14).
6) Very Good Modern Meta-analysis #3 showing strong evidence in the potential dangers of 60 Hz EMF.

Our results suggest that ELF-MF higher than 0.4 μT can increase the risk of developing leukemia in children, probably acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Prolonged exposure to electric appliances that generate magnetic fields higher than 0.4 μT like electric blankets is associated with a greater risk of childhood leukemia.
Note: pulsing 60 hz and using heat in the healthywave is just as bad or worse than electric blankets BECAUSE the 60 Hz is amplified.

The results of a review article evaluating case-control studies by Zhao et al. (2014) showed a positive and significant association between residential exposure to electromagnetic radiation sources and the occurrence of childhood leukemia.
9) Ahlbom et al. (2000) and Kheifets et al. (2000) also reported a significant association between exposure to magnetic field intensity of ≤0.3 and ≤0.4 μT and childhood leukemia (10, 14).

Conclusions: Our results are in line with previous pooled analyses showing an association between magnetic fields from power lines and childhood leukaemia. Overall, the association is weaker in the most recently conducted studies, but these studies are small and lack methodological improvements needed to resolve the apparent association. We conclude that recent studies on magnetic fields and childhood leukaemia do not alter the previous assessment that magnetic fields are possibly carcinogenic.

NOTE: One interesting observation is that the net response (positive minus negative symptoms) decreased with increasing grade level (Table 6). What this suggests is that younger students may be more sensitive than older students to poor power quality. Similar results were observed for childhood leukemia with residential exposure to magnetic fields. Younger children were at greater risk for developing leukemia than older children.

Part 2: Dirty Electricity is not good for you
Beginning with the 1972 oil embargo and the changing energy usage patterns, there had been a move to more energy efficient devices including ones that use more pulsed power and various forms of switching power supplies that all generate many high frequency transients. These impulse and transient spikes, with their complex harmonic relationships, are generated by many of our modern electronic devices including TVs, solar panels, tesla chargers, computers, printers, dimmer switches and so on. These signals are “parasitic oscillations” that ride on top of the existing 60 Hz power and radiate electromagnetic fields through the house wiring into our bodies. The studies below show many harmful effects of this “dirty electricity”.

2) Wertheimer and leeper 1979 - Famous study showing link between 60 Hz power and childhood leukemia
Wertheimer N, Leeper E. Electrical wiring configurations and childhood cancer. Am J Epidemiol. 1979 Mar;109(3):273-84. Wertheimer N, Leeper E. Electrical wiring configurations and childhood cancer. American journal of epidemiology, 1979, 109: 273-284.
