"Don't Buy Any PEMF (Pulsed ElectroMagnetic Field) Device Until You Read These Reviews"
Hi, my name is Bryant Meyers and I have been researching energy medicine for 15 years. I have a Masters Degree in Physics and quit my job teaching Physics to pursue studying, researching, testing and trying many of the energy medicine devices on the market. I truly feel energy medicine is the medicine of the future and the days of "Star-Trek" like medical devices are already becoming available.
I not only researched but actually tried (and owned) well over $250,000 worth of equipment; everything from ionic footbaths(Q2,Aqua Chi,EB Pro,IonCleanse) to cold lasers(Terraquant) and infrared therapy devices (warp 10, lumenphoton, saunalite, infrared saunas like clearlight, sunlight, and therasauna) to scenars(RITM, Dove) to radionics machines to rife technologies(GB4000, Perl,BeamRay, energywellness), whole body vibration machines(over 20 models tested), zappers(terminator, ultimate, hulda clark), ed skilling devices (photon sound beam, photon genie, etc) to chi machines, soqi beds, migun beds, oxygen/ozone therapy, active air machines (airnergy, valkion, active air) water ionizers(6 models tested), light and sound machines, and many others including Eagle Research, Biophoton Analyzer,QXCI/SCIO, MWO/VIBE machine, metamatrix/EESystems Scalar Wave generator plus more... but my favorite is...Pulsed Electro Magnetic Field (PEMF) Therapy Machines.
I honestly feel PEMF is the best researched and most effective of ALL the energy medicine devices I have tried, period. Below are my experiences and reviews of 10 of the most researched and popular PEMF therapy devices available today.
"2009 PEMF Reviews (Top 9 PEMF Machines Rated)"
MRS 2000+ Designo (Top Rated)
Frequency: .5 - 25 Hz Sinusoidal w/ Sawtooth Carrier Signal Waveform (full body mat), squarewave on pad and probe.
Intensity: 5 - 70 uT
Cost: Starts at $2895.00
Includes: computer, full body mat, small pad and probe (MED SET ONLY)- Light-Sound Machine optional
Warranty: Best of Any Company - Solid 3 Year Unconditional Warranty.
I give the MRS 2000 (MRS stands for Magnetic Resonance Stimulation) the top spot because most importantly it worked the best for me. I noticed better sleep the first night and now since I have been using it for over two years now, I can honesty say it has been the #1 most effective device I have tried in helping me to feel healthy, pain free and energetic again (after ten years of chronic fatigue and constant pain). And it helped clear up a serious dental infection.
Actually, it is really the ONLY PEMF device that really helped me with both my long standing health issues and more recently a serious dental infection.
Also, is it is THE CLOSEST to Nature in frequency and intensity. That is, the earths average magnetic field is about 40 uT (microtesla) and the MRS uses intensities very close to this strength. It also has six individual coils with increasing strength towards the feet.
Plus, the MRS 2000 switches polarity every two minutes so you don't become acclimated to the signal.
AND, the MRS uses weak pulsing fields in the frequency range of .5 to 25 Hz. Again, the naturally occuring pulsed field on the earth is the Schumann resonance and the first two major harmonics are 7.83 and 14.2 HZ. The MRS uses these harmonics plus millions of frequencies in this range. Also of note is that Klaus Pontzik proved that the earths polar frequencies are about 11.8 Hz. And consider the brain state frequencies from .5-30 Hz.
Interestingly there has been research showing the body can only absorb frequencies roughly in this range (called the Adey Window 6 -20 Hz). And further Zimmerman showed using super sensitive magnetic detection devices that energy healers emit from their hands pulsed magnetic frequencies in this range with the peak being 7-8 Hz.
The MRS 2000 additionally contains a biorhythm clock so you run the appropriate frequency program for the time of day. So you are energized early in the day and relaxed in the evening. No other PEMF has this option.
Finally of all the machines I have tried (including other energy medicine devices), the MRS 2000 is the easiest to use. AND It is very well made in Germany with a solid THREE Year warranty.
Conclusion, the MRS 2000 is my top choice for BEST PEMFT because of its effectiveness, research, company, and it is hands down the closest to nature. "Comprehend and Copy Nature"...Thats what the MRS 2000 does beautifully.
*It was properly engineered to help the body heal itself
*It contains the powerful applicator "probe" for healing certain body parts
*It has a Biorhythm Clock
*3 Year Warranty
*Its intensities are the closest to nature
*Its frequencies are the closest to nature, your brain-states and what the human body is capable of safely absorbing
*Switches Polarity every two minutes
*6 individuals coils giving stronger fields at the feet and weaker fields towards the head. Its the only unit with the option to add a light and sound machine integrated to the unit.
Bemer 3000
Frequency: Complex Sinusoidal Waveform @ 33 Hz
Intensity: 3.5 - 35 uT
Cost: Starts at $3400 for Bemer 3000 Plus
Includes: computer, full body mat, small applicator box, travel bag and towel.
Warranty: 2 Years
The Bemer 3000 runs its carrier signal at a frequency of about 33 Hz with 40 pulses in each "packet". This gives a total of over 1200 pulses per second or over 1200 Hz. That’s outside of the range of frequencies that the body can optimally absorb. Additionally the Bemer signal seems to be irratating to people that are chemically sensitive.
I have met the staff at their US Headquarters in Matiland, Fl and they’re nice people. I used this particular product for 3 months and I didn't really notice any difference.
One of the selling points the manufacturer behind the Bemer 3000 puts forth is that they claim its complex waveform outperforms saw tooth, square wave and other geometries. But paradoxically, this signal that Bemer claims is their greatest strength, I feel is their greatest weakness. It has a frequency that is too high and based on a lot of feedback from clinicians I have talked to, the Bemer 3000 is irratating for people that are chemically sensitive.
Also the Bemer has no Biorhythm clock so you are stuck with the same frequency no matter what time of day it is. To me this makes no sense. Brain wave and EEG research shows that during the early part of the day and afternoon, our brains are more active (Beta state) and in the evening we wind down and relax and our brains have lower frequencies (alpha and theta before bed).
Additionally it does not switch polarity so your body can become acclimated to the signal.
Also of note is that the portable applicator is not very effective (MRS probe and QRS pen work better).
And finally the wire mesh mat used will not give the user a clean pulsating magnetic field (you need a current loop without interference).
*The research behind it seems sound
*Its intensities are close to nature
But...
*Its frequency is a too high
*Wire Mesh Mat Does not Provide a Pure Magnetic Field
*Its applicator is not very effective.
*No Circadian Rhythm Clock
QRS - Quantron Resonance System
Frequency: 3-1000Hz Sawtooth Waveform
Intensity: 4-40 uT
Cost: starts @ $2950 -- add $295 for pen applicator
Includes: Control Unit, Full Body Mat, Local Applicator Pad. Applicator Pen extra.
Warranty: Conditional 2 year
The QRS is a well known and researched system from Germany that was introduced in the US about 10 years ago.
I used the QRS for 30 Days as directed and ended up sending it back for a refund. The support was good, but it costed extra. Overall I was disappointed with the results, even though the research seemed to be good.
The frequencies go up way too high up (to 1000hz) which can make the system irritating even though the intensities are in a good range (40 uT). This is outside the biological window of frequencies that the cells optimally respond to.
Like the Bemer, the wire mesh mat used will not give the user a pure pulsating magnetic field (you need a current loop without interference).
But, the QRS Quantron Resonance System DOES use the sawtooth, intensities close to nature and has a pen applicator.
*Frequencies too high
*Wire Mesh Mat Does not Provide a Pure Magnetic Field
*Good Support (but Not Free)
*Intensities Close to Nature
Ondamed
Frequency: .1 - 32,000 Hz
Intensity: 500uT-50,000uT
Cost: $25,000 (w/training)
Includes: computer, software, training, neck applicator, area applicator
I recently used the Ondamed for the first time and it really is an interesting machine. First an applicator was placed around my head, almost something that look like headphones. Than a segmented strip of some sort of magnetic field generator was placed over my chest and torso.
The practitioner than turns the machine on, and holds your wrist to check your pulse as he/she scans through different frequencies. Every place where your pulse "spikes", that's where your body needs the energy.
Additionally the practitioner uses a hand held pulsating magnetic device to treat different areas and check for a pulse on different locations in the body.
I got some results, but they were very subtle.
Considering the $25,000 price tag and difficulty of use, I would not recommend this for home use. It's best to go see a skilled practitioner trained in using this device.
It requires a lot of training and understanding in finding the correct "pulse" of the person being treated.
Here is the summary provided by the manufacturer:
"The Ondamed is an Electro-Magnetic Impulse Frequency Device that allows the Healthcare Provider to detect weakness/disorder in patient's body instantly by pulse feedback method. The Ondamed gives the health care provider a "look into the patient's body" and undetected or underlying problems for patient's complaints and pains can be discovered, the Healthcare Provider follows his initial exam by choosing the proper frequency treatment. The gentle non-threatening treatments can be applied according to the Ondamed Therapy Instructions. "
But in spite of its price, difficulty of use and mixed reviews, it is recommended by some notable personalities and credible researchers and physicians. It also has very good research to back it up.
*Good Research
*Great Endorsements
But....
*Mixed Results
*Expensive
*Difficult to Use
Magnopro
Frequency: 2-1000Hz
Intensity: 1-136 uT
Cost: $1890.00
Includes: Control Unit, Full Body Mat, Local Applicator Pad. Applicator Pen extra.
The Magnopro is made in Australia and was introduced 5 years ago.
The machine is priced well, but for me it remains untested and of questionable quality. I have talked to a few distributors that sell the machine and the consensus is that it is of lower quality than the MRS 2000, QRS and Bemer 3000.
And I find this quote on their website a little concerning:
"It is recommended that individuals who are more sensitive to pulsed electromagnetic fields and who have complicated health conditions use the QRS. The Magnopro is a better choice for less complicated health problems, athletes or those who are pursuing a preventative health lifestyles."
So basically they are recommending another brand for more serious health conditions?
Also, several of the top distributors of the QRS also sell the Magnopro and each one I talked to recommended the QRS highly over the Magnopro.
PER 2000 - Pulsed Energy Replenisher
Frequency: 1-30Hz
Intensity: ~2,000,000 uT (40,000x earth's field)
Cost: Approx $26,000
Includes: Control Unit, loop applicators and great support.
The PER 2000 was engineered after the Papimi became banned in the U.S. They designed it smaller, safer and more affordable than the Greek predecessor (Papimi).
These papimi-like machines are VERY expensive starting at about $16,000. They use VERY HIGH intensity coils shooting "bursts" of pulsed magnetic fields for just microseconds.
They are not to be used everyday, but rather for acute problems and only intermittent use for chronic situations.
Don't get me wrong, I think these machines work and work very well. I have heard some really incredible testimonials, but again I would only use them in acute situations like injuries, etc and only intermittently on chronic problems (not on a day to day basis). Personally, I think these machines should be used in clinics under direct supervision because of the high intensities involved AND NOT used long term. The MRS 2000, Bemer 3000 and QRS are better suited for day to day use and long term use.
If you have your heart set on a high powered PEMF, I would rate the PER 2000 the highest.
Magnapulse / PEMF 100 - Same Machine
Frequency: 1-30Hz
Intensity: ~2,000,000 uT (40,000x earth's field)
Cost: $16,000-$20,000
Includes: Control Unit, loop applicators and great support.

Diapulse
I am still in the process of evaluating the Diapulse, but I can say that it is very expensive AND the frequencies used seem too high.
However, there seems to be a lot of research with the unit and many doctors and practicioners use it with reported success.
